It can be the constant criticism, the twisting of your words. The way you start doubting yourself and apologizing for things you know aren't your fault, just to keep the peace.
You find yourself watching everything you say.
You feel stuck between wanting to forget about it and trying to make sense of it.
Some days you feel numb and detached. Other days you fly off the handle at the slightest thing, taking your mood out on the wrong people.
You just want to be yourself again, but you're not sure who that is anymore.
You don't have to untangle this on your own.
When your mind feels crowded and nothing seems to make sense, counselling offers a a safe space to pause, breathe and start untangling it all. It gives you space to hear your own voice again, without judgement or pressure.
Some days it can feel like two steps forward and three steps backward. That doesn't mean you have failed, it simply means your nervous system is protecting you, while you learn, grow and heal.
With person centred counselling, we can work together at your pace to rebuild and explore your sense of self, find safety and lasting support.
If poor communication patterns are showing up in your current partnership, couples counselling is also available to navigate and support you with communication, boundary setting and change in a way that feels respectful for you both.
Fees
Wattle Tree Counselling is a private practice.
Standard Counselling (1 hr)- $120
Consession rate (1hr)- $100
Couples Counselling (1.5hrs) -$170
Online -Zoom Session (1hr) -$120
Fee payable at conclusion of session.

Payment options include; Private payment (cash and card), NDIS- self managed or plan managed services.
Wattle Tree Counselling also accepts payment through third-party providers. (Please discuss this with your service provider, work place or case manager).
Who is Wattle Tree Counselling
Meet Tracy
Having lived and worked in the Wheatbelt for over 20 years I am well aware of the difficulty people face accessing local services.
This along with my experience working as a nurse in the community, the aged care sector and in support worker roles in both mental health and domestic and family violence, led me to follow the path of becoming a counsellor.
I bring life experience and knowledge of rural living to the counselling space.
My qualifictions include;
Degree of Psychology- Edith Cowan University
Diploma of Counselling- Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors
Level 1 & 2 Training in Gottman Method Couple Therapy
